Biking Askrova

To come to Askrova you take the local boat service from Florø. At the quay where you arrive there is a grocery shop. It is all together 9 km with asphalted roads on Askrova. The terrain is mostly flat between the ferry quay and Valvik. If you want to cycle to Hammerseth / Vallestad, there is 2 steep hills before you come to the top. From the island you have a great panorama view towards the ocean and many islands. 

Worth a visit:

-       The "troll cave". A cave from far back, big as a cathedral. An exciting and beautiful nature phenomenon.

-       Marked trail to Skaratoppen (219 m.a.s.), a nice family hike. About 50 minutes to the top.

-       The Hammerseth-water, a nice place to have a picnic. Here you can fish for trout.
