Birdwatching: The Dillevik bird tower
The Dilleviktower is a bird watchingtower on Lake Dillevik, which is open to all. The tower has a bow where you can enter and warm up and a three meter high tower.
The bird tower is located on the north side of Lake Dillevik and offers good views in all directions. Here you come close to bird life and can enjoy herds of tears or a rare shame. The bird tower can be used by all: hikers, families on Sunday trips, ornithologists and school classes.
The Dillevik Tower is located in the Hera Nature Reserve. An area with a buzzing bird life. The area was protected in 1992 to preserve an important wetland area with vegetation, bird life and other wildlife, as well as a very varied natural environment that represents a beautiful and valuable element in the cultural landscape. Kallaksjøen and Dilleviksjøen are known for their buzzing bird life. Nearly 200 species of birds are registered within the nature reserve. Many of these are wetland birds that thrive in and near water.
