Eastern Norway Oslo

Birdwatching Down town Oslo (City park Nordre gravlund)

  •  /  km From You

The parks and residential gardens in Oslo attract a variety of birds, and you may see many of the commoner species here, most of the year including Fieldfare. Nutcracker leads a quiet life in the surrounding woodlands during summer, but comes into the city’s green areas to feed on hazel nuts and cones of the introduced Swiss Pine in late summer. In areas with deciduous trees, you can find species such as Green and Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Wood Warbler and Hawfinch, and Black Redstart may be found downtown.
