Eidsvatnet is a shallow lake situated in an agricultural area on the Fosen peninsula. It is one of the most important fresh-water sites in Central Norway and, together with Litlvatnet, is regarded as part of the Ørland wetland system. The shallowest section with the lushest reeds and other vegetation is found in the north end of the lake.
