Revtangen headland is one of the most traditional birding sites in Norway. The bird observatory was founded here in 1937. Park by the main road and walk along the farmland path across the fields and down to the beach, from where you have a good view to the headland with boulder rocks and stranded kelp, often holding a number of shorebirds, gulls and terns. Seabirds may pass over the ocean.
