Southern Norway Agder KRISTIANSAND

Birdwatching Kristiansand (Baneheia forest)

  •  /  km From You

Kristiansand, with its 81,000 inhabitants, is by far the largest town along the Norwegian Skagerrak coast. It is also a popular holiday destination. For these reasons, it is quite possible that you will end up in or near Kristiansand during your stay in Norway. The woodlands on the outskirts of the city is particularly good for Wryneck and Hawfinch, and the surrounding forests have strong populations of Capercaillie. White-backed Woodpecker is still possible to find in the woodlands near Kristiansand.
