The small lake - or pond - Kjennetjern is almost overgrown with water plants, which makes it an attractive site for a variety of water birds. It is difficult to overlook, but is a very interesting place to visit during nocturnal bird song trips, often including Thrush Nightingale. The dry pine hills to the south holds Woodlark and Nightjar.
