Lake Slevdalsvann on the Lista peninsula has the largest reedbed in Norway. The lake was almost completely overgrown with reeds for many years, but in 2015 a patch of open water was reestablished. Hopfully, this will restore the lake's value as a nesting and staging ground for a larger number of bird species. Two tower hides overlook the lake.
