Overview

Pasvik is a wooded valley in the taiga zone, speckled with marshes and lakes. The valley is situated in a tiny part of Norway which is sandwiched between Finland and Russia south of Kirkenes. This is one of the most exotic and exiting woodlands in Norway and the easiest accessible area regularly holding breeding Smew, Great Grey Owl, Arctic Warbler and Little Bunting.
