Birdwatching Røst (Skomvær island)

  •  /  km From You
Overview

Skomvær is the outermost island in the Lofoten archipelago. It is barren and covered in grass only, but under certain weather conditions, exciting migrants can show up. The island is reached from Røst, and the boat ride often produces a number of seabirds, including British Storm Petrel and Leach's Petrel.
