Birdwatching Setesdal (Lundane, Vidmyr)

  •  /  km From You

Setesdal is a long and rather narrow valley dominated by pine forest and is famous for its rich and remarkable cultural heritage. The valley is home to Capercaillie and many other species of the forest, including Osprey and several other raptors. Little Ringed Plover breed a few places along Otra river. High up in the valley, near the ski resort of Hovden is the bird-rich wetland Vidmyr located, at an elevation of 850 m.
