  •  /  km From You
Overview

The Stjørdalsfjord is an arm of the Trondheimsfjord reaching east to the mouth of river Stjørdalselva at the head of the fjord. The Stjørdal delta is for the most part developed into Stjørdal town, industrial areas and an airport. Fragments of the original delta habitats are more or less intact, however, still attracting a number of wetland species during migration both at the mouth and up along the river.
