Birdwatching Utvær (Utvær lighthouse)

  •  /  km From You
Overview

Utvær is a group of small and low, windswept islands and skerries covered with grass, 7 km off the coast at the mouth of the Sognefjord. The outermost islet represents the westernmost point of dry land in Norway. This makes a good vantage point for observing the migration of waterbirds along the coast, and under certain weather conditions, migrant landbirds may turn up as well.
