Majestic views from the Vetan
Vetan is a mountain that from ancient times was used for Vardebrenning. The mountain offers adventurous views of the whole of Lesjabygda, and the hike up goes into a historically interesting area that offers cultural monuments from agriculture and forestry, bomb crates and cultural monuments from World War II. The guide will tell about the local people's management of nature, from the Viking Age until today. On the trip through the old pine forest, the chance to see big birds and grouse is definitely present.
