In the area Borgeåsen you will find very nice and historical walking trails.
Here is a large network of trails in the pine and mixed forest. From the south-west side there are panoramic views of the city Porsgrunn. Parts of Borgeåsen has a nice pine forests and flora, and is particularly beautiful in spring with plenty of spring flowers.
Dance plain, where people in the old days were gathered to party and where midsummer used to be hold , are still there.
