Braastad epler - Farm visit & guiding for groups
At Aske Nordre farm, on the Nes-peninsula in Ringsaker municipality, the Braastad family has grown fruit for three generations. The orchard is south-facing and has a great view over Lake Mjøsa. Here we produce apples and plums, berries, eggs from free-range hens and grain. We have our own processing plant for apple juice, jam, ice cream and sorbet.
The apple farmer himself, Knut Braastad, offers tours for groups, in the orchard and the processing plant, and gives lectures on topics related to apple, fruit and berry growing. It is especially nice here in the spring during the apple blossoms, on a good weather day in the summer, and in the autumn when the farm is full of fruit and berries.
All fruit and berry drinks are grown, pressed and bottled here on the farm. Included in the tour and lecture are tastings of the products we offer, and the opportunity to shop in the farm shop.
Guiding and group tours by appointment.
Group sizes: 6-15 people
Price per person: NOK 250 per person incl. 8 tastings
