Brasserie Chérie

In the French brasserie in Bergen, you will be taken back to the grand era of early 1900`Paris.
As you enter the restaurant, you’ll be greeted by stunning floral wallpaper, dark velour, colourful decor, plush sofas – in essence, a French world of elegance and charm!
Our culinary chefs, Morten Tungesvik and David McCarthy, have extensive experience and have worked at several Michelin-starred restaurants, both locally and internationally. Our brasserie utilises local, seasonal ingredients and follows a Nose-To-Tail concept, where every part of the animal is used. We work closely with local farmers, fishermen, and food producers to provide our customers with the finest culinary experience of local cuisine. Our Brasserie Chérie is part of Hôtel Charmante.
At Brasserie Chérie, you can also enjoy delicious lunch dishes, including perfectly toasted brioche and classic tartare made with premium Wagyu beef – all prepared with locally sourced ingredients. The specialty, moules frites, is a summer favorite with fresh mussels and crispy fries. Complete your meal with a refreshing salad, and treat yourself to a cappuccino and the signature dessert, crème brûlée.
Here, you’ll find Bergen’s Paris, right in the heart of Skostredet in Bergen city center.
Brasserie Chérie can accommodate 116 guests. In addition to the restaurant, you can also reserve a private room – Chambre Louise, which can accommodate up to 12 guests.
