Brasserie Fengselet

The restaurant Brasserie Fengselet (Restaurant the Prison) is located downtown Hønefoss. The menus are inspired by the season's Norwegian raw materials together with the best from the continental cuisine. Fengselet is a cultural institution offering concerts and art exhibitions in the former courtroom and cells. In addition to the traditional Norwegian fare, we also serve good wines – a really enjoyable meal. During the summer season, we have the town's finest outdoor serving in our large beautiful garden in central Hønefoss – but still shielded from the town's busy traffic streets.
