Tour starts from the Port of Olden, and is only available when there is a ship at port.
Join the GLACIER EXPRESS SHUTTLE BUS on a return journey to the source of Olden’s beautiful turquoise waters, the famous ‘Briksdal Glacier’.
Relax in comfort on the 45 minute trip along the valley whilst enjoying the spectacular landscape views of the mountain waterfalls, the crystal clear reflections in the lakes and the traditional architecture.
Once we reach our destination, you will have 2 hours of leisure time, where you can walk along the paths up to the Glaciers edge, learning a little history of the Glacier through the years, and witnessing the force of the waterfalls up close on your way.
You may just wish to take in the fresh air and embrace the natural beauty of your surroundings. There are many photo opportunities for you here. For those of you who like to shop there is the souvenir shop which stocks many handicrafts of the area.
Or you might like to take refreshments in the restaurant before re-joining us on the scenic return journey back down the valley.
The entire trip will take a maximum of three and a half hours.
There will be continuous service throughout the day when the cruise ship is in town.
Meeting point is just outside the security gate after leaving the ship. You will be met by staff from Olden Adventure guiding you to the designated bus.
