Bygningen, Skjerdal
The unique summer house "Bygningen" overlooks the Aurlandsfjord and the UNESCO World Heritage area. The house lets you experience the fjord life up close.
Bygningen consists of several small parts built together. The old summer house is simple, but still contains everything you need for a comfortable stay. With a fireplace, old books and unique surroundings, Bygningen is suitable for travellers who are looking for an accommodation with personality.
There are four bedrooms in the house. You will find a cozy livingroom, well equipped kitchen, and two bathrooms. There are nine beds all together.
The big terrace is an important part of the summerhouse. A big table and grillhouse makes it a lovely outdoor living space in the summer.
Park the car by the main road. There is about 250 meters to hike on a trail through a cherry garden to the summer house. The trail is fairly steep and you have to walk several wooden stairs. You have to be reasonable fit to walk the trail, and pack your luggage in a backpack to carry it down to the unique summer house.
