In our barn you can have lunch, coffee with freshly baked goods - or enjoy dinner. Why not take a look at the strawberry -or raspberry fields and learn about the history of the farm!
The Bjørklund farm has a wonderful location with a superb view of Sørfolda and the national park Sjunkhatten. We grow raspberrries, strawberries and vegetables. The former cowshed has been reconstructed to a café with a kitchen. Where the cows used to be you can now be served freshly baked goods from the woodstove and newly picked products from the fields. Groups can book lunch and dinner based on local products.
We offer idyllic accommodation in domes. The Domes are placed just above the garden where raspberries are grown. During the summer you should check whether these arctic berries taste different from berries from the south.
The Domes are in nature with a fantastic view of the mountains and the fjord. You can see the sky from your bed. During the winter you might even see stars, the moon – or the northern lights?
Homemade breakfast with fresh bread and local products is served in a reconstructed barn.
An evening meal can be provided upon arrival (not included in the rate). For larger groups (2 Domes - 8 persons) dinner can be provided (Not included in the rate).
The Domes are without electricity, but wood for heating is provided. WC, shower, electricity and WiFi are provided in the barn – 100 m walk from the Dome.
There are four comfortable beds in each Dome. During summer we have light day and night. In the wintertime it is dark, flashlight is provided in the Dome. During the winter it is necessary to bring extra warm cloths.
The best option to visit the farm is by car. If you arrive by boat it is possible to use a guest dock located a 10 min walk from the farm.
