Norveg is one of the most spectacular building on the Norwegian coast. It is rooted in the ocean – the pantry where people have gotten their food from thourgh 10 000 years. The café at Kystmuseet Rørvik follows this tradition and is privileged enough to be able to use fresh and local ingredients every day.
The menu in Café Norveg is based on local ingredients and produce, delivered by local fishermen, meat producers and local dairy farms, and cooked to perfection, based on the ingredients natural taste and texture.
The menus are seasonal and change throughout the year, depending on which ingredients and produce is in season. The food is cooked using traditional techniques, but with modern twists.
Open for individual guest for lunch every day 10:00 – 17:00, from June 15th to August 15th 2019.
Outside of the summe seaon the café is open from 11:00-15:00. Different opening hours on public holidays. Open for group all year around, also outside normal opening hours. On request.
There are plenty of areas for parking, and a guest harbour close to the museum.
