Cafè at Runde Environmentalcenter

A cup of coffee with views of ocean and bird cliffs

Right next to the famous bird cliffs on Runde, you’ll find the café at Runde Environmental Centre – a perfect stop before or after your trip. Here, you can sit back with a good cup of coffee, homemade cakes and local ice cream. The kitchen also serves both cold and hot dishes for lunch and dinner.

Shop

Inside the café, there’s a small shop full of treasures. Here, you can buy local handicrafts and lovely gifts to take home as a souvenir from your trip.

Combine taste with knowledge and nature

The café is part of the visitor centre at Runde, which offers exhibitions, guided tours and activities for both adults and children. You can visit the exhibition and see the Runde Treasure, and explore the displays about life in the ocean. Combine your visit with an educational tour led by a nature guide or a hike up to the bird cliffs, where the puffins nest from April to July. For groups or large families, it’s a good idea to book in advance – both for dining and activities.
