A place with historical charm
Our name is inspired by Elisabet Tønder Brix, a wealthy and vibrant woman from 18th-century Steinkjer. She managed an inn and ferry traffic from Steinkjergården, not far from where our café is located today. During her time, women were often addressed as "Madam," making Café Madam Brix a fitting tribute to her legacy.
Stop by Café Madam Brix and let us provide you with an unforgettable experience – whether you’re seeking peace and comfort during the day or a lively social evening.
Welcome!
