Explore Finnskogen and Kynna by cano or kayak - an deep forest nature experience you won't forget!

The paddling tour offers narrow lakes and rivers that meander through an idyllic forest landscape. Here you get close to nature, - especially in the narrow river courses, and if you're lucky you can experience birds and animals up close.

The silence in this area is absolutely magical!
The Kynna is a gentle watercourse without large rapids. This makes it easy to paddle and ideal for families and beginners. Along the river you will find prepared campsites for resting and overnight stays. In several places you will also find nice bathing spots.

Kynna has previously been used for floating timber, and in the watercourse there are remains of old dam facilities and other cultural historical evidence of this.

This is the perfect weekend getaway. With approx. 24 km paddling stretch, through 3 municipalities, you can set up a trip with one or two overnight stays, - and two or three paddling days. There are several options for start and end points that allow you to decide the length and duration of the paddling trip yourself.

There is a network of forest roads along Kynna, - these are also signposted as cycle routes. These roads make it simple and easy to bring and collect both canoe and crew along the entire route. The roads also contribute to extra security should something happen along the way.

Kynna has more to offer than fantastic paddling opportunities. Here there are also many signposted cycle routes, - which include Nordre and Søndre Kyndalsrunden. The many prepared campsites along Kynna are also accessible by bicycle.
