Climb Stetind with a local, internationally certified IFMGA Mountain Guide

  • Herjangen 290, Bjerkvik
  •  /  km From You
Overview

Stetind Stetind (1391m) is Norway’s “National Mountain” and for a good reason. It is by far the most unique and beautiful peaks in the country. The climb of the normal route is easy but very exposed ridge climbing. With a certified IFMGA mountain guide you will be safe all the way.

Duration
The climb takes between 10-14 hours from the car. There is about 3h up to Halls presummit where we tie in to ropes and from there approx. 2h up to the summit and the same times down. This gives us an average time on our climbs of 11h. But there is no stress and we make sure we enjoy the day.

Meeting Place
The Parking lot directly under Stetind. We suggest that you stay in a tent here or we can suggest other options for accommodation in Tysfjord. We may be able to pick you up in Narvik.

Included in the price
Guiding by a certified IFMGA Mountain Guide. All technical equipment for the climb. Harness, helmet and climbing shoes are provided.

Requirements
Good general fitness. No need of prior climbing experience but you need a good head for heights. We will provide you with all necessary climbing Equipment.

Number of participants
Min 2 max 3 per guide. We are happy to go with one client too but will then adjust the price.
