This is a fantastic round trip from Bergen, where you experience the skerries, islands and fjords as seen from the road and from the ferries. Rent yourself a car or use your own.
Experience the fascinating islands in Austevoll, Fitjar, Stord and Bømlo. On the road to Bømlo there are two spacious hanging bridges that provide a wonderful view over fjords and mountains.
Bømlo is an important island in Norwegian history.
The walk continues to Etne and Åkrafjorden - with steep mountains and the majestic Langfoss. From Åkrafjorden, the trip goes past the famous twin waterfalls Låtefoss. Folgefonna is the third largest glacier, and from Sundal there is a short walk to the Bondhus glacier (1.2 km).
Furebergfossen waterfall at Mauranger Lake is also a wonderful sight.
The village Rosendal is situated by the Hardangerfjord - called the "Queen of the Norwegian fjords. Rosendal is surrounded by beautiful mountains, and here there is great possibilities for hiking, biking and other activities. Furthermore, back to Bergen, the trip goes over Tysnes where the Hardangerfjord meets the sea.
