Join a fresh and beautiful boattrip by RIB from the harbour of Ulsteinvik to the bird island Runde. This is the southernmost bird mountain in Norway. On the boattrip we pass the seal colony at Grasøyane and many idyllic small islets. The bird mountain on Runde is home to thousands of seabirds, including the famous puffin.
The boattrip starts at the harbor of Quality Hotel Ulstein in Ulsteinvik. After a safety brief, we board the RIB-boat that takes us on a beautiful sightseeing tour between idyllic small islets and pass on to Grasøyane with the Lighthouse and the seal colony. If we are lucky, we´ll be able to spot the seals sunbathing on the reefs or swimming in the sea around the islets there. Then the trip goes to Runde Island and the famous bird mountain, and we hope to see both the colorful puffins and several other sea bird species. By the foot of the mountain we pass slowly and can enjoy the sight and the overwhelming sound of the bird life around us!
From Runde, the trip goes directly back to Ulsteinvik.
