Responsible cycling in nature

When cycling in Telemark’s beautiful landscapes, it is important to show respect for both nature and other people. Stick to marked trails and roads, avoid creating new tracks, and reduce your speed when meeting hikers or other cyclists.

Take all your waste with you, and leave picnic spots and bathing areas as you found them. Show consideration for wildlife and livestock by keeping a safe distance and always closing gates behind you. By cycling responsibly, you help preserve the area’s unique nature and ensure a great experience for everyone who visits after you.
