Start at Stord kulturhus in the centre of Leirvik, and follow the narrow road on the left-hand side behind Kulturhuset up a steep hill. Continue cycling under the footbridge, past Andedammen pond and on along the main road until you come to a pedestrian crossing by a bus stop. Cross the pedestrian crossing and turn left. You then come to the entrance to Landåsen walking area, 0.8 km from Kulturhuset.
You can then cycle a further 1.5 km until you come to the end of Landåsvatnet lake, where there are tables, benches and you can swim.
