Inga Dalsegg - Paintings which create feelings and emotional thoughts
You can find the artist Inga Dalsegg at her art studio Dalalåven Atelier in the centre of Rindal. Her studio is an old restored barn. It does not have a street address, but is next to the hairdresser (Kompaniet Frisør).
Dalalåven Atelier opened in August 2014. In addition to having her art studio here, it also combines as an art gallery and a small shop where she sells art merchandise like calendars, cards, candles, trays, coasters with art on. There is something for everyone here.
Inga Dalsegg is a figurative artist; she works with oil paintings on canvas and papyrus, drawings and lithographs.
The opening times do vary, as the artist herself travels with her art to various exhibitions and fairs in Norway and abroad. But in general it is open every day while she is working. Just to make sure it could be a good idea to contact her via e-mail, phone or just send a text.
She lives just around the corner and is also happy to open on request on evenings and weekends too.
Dalsegg’s art is created from a strong desire to explore universal symbolism and to express the beauty of the human experience in all forms. She strives to entertain a rich tapestry of emotions within her work to acknowledge the diversity of life's journey, and to emphasize the strength of our collective experience.
Inga Dalsegg is a member of the Norwegian Visual Artists Association, Her paintings have been purchased by several large companies in Norway and England
and she has participated in around 70 art exhibitions at home in her native Norway and abroad, she has had her work exhibited in Sweden, the United States, England, Netherlands, Belgium, Estonia and Brazil.
