From the A13 road in Jørpeland, follow the signs to Foreneset and park at Dalen Power Station. If you're arriving by bus, get off at Strand Town Hall and follow Dalavegen up to the power station.
Once you've parked, the trail begins in the wooded area on the opposite side of Dalavegen. The hike is well-marked, and the trail mostly ascends gently. It's a straightforward and enjoyable hike suitable for most people. This hike is a part of the Hjerterunden in Jørpeland.
