Day trip cabin on Bømlo - Kurebu

Take a trip to the beautiful day-trip cabin on Goddo in Bømlo. The cabin is named Kurebu!
The daytrip cabin Kurebu is located on Goddo, in the hiking area towards Barmane.
Hiking descriptionFrom the parking lot, it is a 1.3-kilometer walk—mostly through hilly terrain. The trail takes you through an open landscape with rocky outcrops, stones, and marshland. The hike to the cabin takes approximately 20 minutes.
Access and parkingDrive on National Road 5004 via Urangsvåg to Kinnastraumen Bridge (Goddebrua). Just after crossing the bridge, turn left and drive about 250 meters towards Helgeplass. The parking lot is located just past the hilltop on the right side of the road. The trail starts 40 meters before the parking lot on the same side.
You can also paddle a kayak from the recreational area at Barmane. From there, the cabin is visible on a ridge to the east.
FacilitiesThe cabin is equipped with a toilet, a wood stove, and electricity.
