Discovery route is for you who are planning to travel from Stavanger to Bergen by car. The Discovery Route takes you on a tour through beautiful nature with impressive waterfalls, salmon rivers and deep lakes.
The tour takes about 8,5 hours: Stavanger – Tau (car ferry 30 min), Tau – Hjelmeland (Rv13 National Touristroad, 47 km) Hjelmeland – Nesvik (car ferry 10 min), Nesvik – Sand (Rv13, 43 km), Sand – Nesflaten (Rv 13, 47 km), Nesflaten – Røldal (Rv13, 28 km), Røldal – Odda (E134/Rv13, 42 km), Odda – Voss, bridge across Hardangerfjord (Rv 13, 93 km) and Voss Bergen (E16, 106 km), totaly 415 km.
Many possibilities for stops and detours. Most famous detours and hikes are to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) in Lysefjord and Trolltunga in Odda.
