Dogsledding tour
Join an exciting dogsledding tour into the deep forests of Gratangen. The tour is led by a knowledgeable tour guide who has his own dog team. After receiving safety instructions on how to drive a dog sled you will start a majestic tour where you in pairs drive your own dog team through the deep forests of Gratangen.
The route passes through a rugged terrain and among majestic mountains. There will be a stop along the way where you have the opportunity to take pictures. Hopefully the mysterious and spectacular Lady Aurora will appear.

Aurora Borealis ceremony
After an adventurous trip, we move into a warm lavvo (Sami tent). There you will be served chaga tea, a drink that the Sami regards as holy. The tea gives you the power and energy to meet a Sami shaman. He will first tell you about the relationship between the Sami, nature and the Northern Lights. Then he will lead you through an engaging ceremony. Did you know that according to Sami people's faith, the souls of our ancestors’ live in the Northern Lights? Be a part of this traditional ceremony and see how a Sami shaman summons the Northern Lights.

Biidus
After the ceremony you will be served biidus - a traditional Sami dish, which is a stew consisting reindeer meat (vegetarian meal can be arranged on request). After dinner we will enjoy some tea, coffee and cake. During the meal the shaman will explain you more of the Sami culture and tradition. Maybe you will learn something about your own future?
