Overview

The first part of the trail follows an old timber track, which later gives way to a path. The area has a rich wildlife, and if you are lucky, you may see various species of game. At the end of the trail there is a viewpoint at approx. 710 m.a.s.l. From here you may see the village of Bygland, the fjord and the small village of Jordalsbø.

START: Rindane residential area, 1 km east of central Bygland / WGS84: 58.832903, 7.813468

DURATION: 2 - 4  hours 

LENGTH: 7 km returntrip

MARKING: Blue

LEASH PERIOD: 1. April – 20. August

LEAVE NO TRACE BEHIND The nature in Bygland is unique and magnificent. Do the environment a favour and take the rubbish with you, for the benefit of other hikers.
