E.C. Dahls Bryggeri has brewed beer in Trondheim since 1856. In the autumn of 2016, the brewery opened its doors to the public. The traditional Dahls Pils is brewed here alongside many new and innovative beers. The brewery’s partner is the well reputed Brooklyn Brewery from New York. When you visit the brewery, you can eat and drink well, participate in beer tastings and go on a guided tour of the brewery. If you want a tasty meal, you will experience lots of flavour at E.C. Dahls Pub & Kjøkken. Most of the ingredients are sourced from local producers. The restaurant is American-inspired and makes good use of the grill.
Whether you are in the pub or the restaurant, lively flavour and aroma await you. The ingredients are mainly sourced from local producers. Inspired by the great American barbecue, we make good use of the grill. We smoke both meat and fish, and combine old culinary traditions with new trends.
The pub offers a wide selection of beer in bottles and on tap. Here, you can taste exclusive beer styles from the brewery – and we will keep updating the beer list. On the menu, you’ll also find also home-made burgers, sausages and other pub food with flavours that deliciously match our beer.
The restaurant is inside the pub. Without white tablecloths, but with a unique atmosphere – perfect for long and short dinners as well as for informal meetings. Like the pub, the restaurant focuses on flavourful food, but the menu is longer and also includes the beer recommendations of the day.
Upstairs we have room for various types of events, such as beer classes, formal meetings, conferences, parties etc. From small groups with fewer than 20 people to large groups with up to 120 people. On the 2nd floor we can serve a variety of menus and buffets. Many of the beer tastings and beer classes will take place here. We also hold cooking classes.
