Enjoy the view from Ramberget
Ramberget located in the hills North of Gjøvik sports a magnificent view over Lake Mjøsa and Gjøvik town. This hike is fairly simple and suitable for both children and adults. Feel free to bring a hammock and enjoy the moment.
About the trip
Drive Northward from downtown Gjøvik and follow the signs towards "Nordenga". Park by Lundstein school or Braastad church.
The hike both starts and ends at right by Lundstein school / Braastad church, where you'll find plenty of parking spots. Start by going down past the school and to the construction site by the Kastadtjernet pond. From the construction site, follow the path into the woods where the actual trip starts. From this point onwards you may follow the path through calming woods on a simple to walk path. After a few hundred metres you will find Ramberget with a great view and an established campfire site.
