Eidfjord Autorent offers a selection of cars just 100 meters from the cruise quay in Eidfjord — for 3 hours, 5 hours, or a full day. Advance booking is recommended!

Eidfjord Autorent is located in the centre of Eidfjord, right below Vøringsfossen and Hardangervidda National Park. With a rental car you have the freedom to explore the beautiful Hardangerfjord and visit whatever you’d like! Hardanger is known for its narrow roads along beautiful fjord arms, where each turn offers breathtaking views of steep mountains and breathtaking natural areas. Explore famous landmarks such as Vøringsfossen waterfall, Hardangervidda National Park, Kjeåsen mountain farm, the Hardanger Bridge, or some of the magnificent mountain peaks or fjord villages in the region.

At Eidfjord Autorent, available daily from March 15th to November 02, they offer cars ranging from 3-7 seats with automatic and manual transmission, and now also electric and hybrid vehicles. The number of cars is limited and demand is high during cruise season — advance booking directly at eidfjordautorent.no is recommended.

Eidfjord Autorent now offers three rental durations — 3 hours, 5 hours, or a full day (until the ship departs). Updated prices and direct booking are available at eidfjordautorent.no. Fuel, insurance, unlimited mileage, a child seat, and additional drivers are included in the price.

With a 3-hour rental, you’ll have time for one of these trips:

  • Vøringsfossen — Norway’s most famous waterfall

  • Kjeåsen mountain farm — views over Simadalen (remember timed driving: uphill on the hour, downhill on the half hour)

  • Norsk Natursenter Hardanger — visitor centre for Hardangervidda National Park

  • Hardangerbrua — one of the longest suspension bridges in the world

  • Ulvik — the village church or the Fruit & Cider Route

A 3-hour trip is best for one destination — the roads are narrow, and the experience is better when you give the place time.

Other experiences:

Explore the Hardangervidda National Tourist Route

Explore the fruit village of Ulvik
