Eiktunet café
Welcome to Eiktunet, a friendly café in a setting packed with history and with spectacular views over Mjøsa and Gjøvik. The café is located in the Sevald building, originally built in the 1750s and extended in the 1960s.

The museum is open to pre-booked groups all year round. Ideal to combine with a visit to one of our other attractions, such as Mjøsa's own museum Mjøsas Ark at Kapp, or Gjøvik Gård in the centre of Gjøvik.

Events
Eiktunet is a popular venue hosting small and large events. Experience outdoor explorer days, midsummer celebrations, family Sundays, the Eiktunet day, and our popular Christmas market.
BBQ
In summer, there are barbecue grills available by the tarn and Mølledammen. Please be aware that barbecues are only allowed at Eiktunet's designated areas. Disposable barbecues are not permitted due to the severe fire hazard.
