The popular Emberlandsnipen (271 meters above sea level) can be reached from three sides. About halfway along the path marked from Stølen in Auklandshamn, you can rest at Nipaståvo. Great views of Bømlafjorden from the top.

From Emberland (on the west side) and Sætre (on the east side) the trip takes about 1/2 hour on a partly steep trail. From the north, starting from Stølen in Auklandshamn, the trip takes 1-2 hours through flatter forest and outfield terrain with some wet areas. The cabin Nipaståvo (from 2021) is always open for day visits.

- Access from Sætre: Take the E-39 at Rød, follow the road about 2.5 km to Langavatnet. Parking by the bathing area. Follow the farm road to Sætre on the left side of the road and take the path to the right.

- Access from Stølen: Park at the store in Auklandshamn. Follow the road through the residential area on Stølen to the marked path.

- Access from Emberland: Drive towards Buavåg and take off towards Åsbu / Emberland at the junction north of the ferry dock. Keep right where the road divides. The path starts from the farm at Emberland.
