Entry point Vera - Blåfjella-Skjækerfjella Nationalpark
There is a trail leading into the national park from Vera.
Directions:
Follow E6 to Verdal, turn right, and continue on Fv 757 for a total of 64 kilometers east towards Vuku. You can park on the left side of the road near Vera Community Hall.
Alternatively, you can take Fv 72 east towards Sweden. At Gropa Kiosk and gas station, turn left towards Vuku, and continue straight, cross the river, and then head east for 44 kilometers from Vuku. You can park on the left side of the road near Vera Community Hall.
About Blåfjella-Skjækerfjella National Park:
Blåfjella-Skjækerfjella National Park (Southern Sami: Låarte-Skæhkere vaarjelimmiedajve) is Norway's fourth-largest national park, located in the forest and mountain areas east of Trøndelag, extending to the Swedish border. The park was established on December 17, 2004, to protect a characteristic mountain landscape with elements of primeval forest, covering an area of 1,924 km². On the same day, Lierne National Park was also established, a bit further to the east.
The park spans across several municipalities: Verdal, Steinkjer, Snåsa, Grong, and Lierne.
