Join us for an exiting dogsledding adventure in the heart of Lyngen, in the Svensby area.
Drive your own team of dogs through the scenic landscape, surrounded by the Lyngen Alps
You will be greeted by happy Alasken Huskies, waiting for you to run and enjoy the trip with you.
The huskies love running on the hilly tracks and wilderness in the Svensby area. As part of the team, you help them up the hills. It is a fun experience, but also a physical workout. Skilled guides will guide the groups with dogsled and help you through the trip, which lasts about 60 - 80 minutes.
After a short explanation of how to handle the dogs and sleds, you will set off in pairs. One will be the "musher" (driver) and the other sits in the sled. You swap places during the trip.
It will be time to cuddle with the dogs and if we are lucky we get to experience the Northern Lights.
In the end of the tour , we will enjoy bonfire in our cozy grillhouse. We will serve warm meal and drinks.
Season: Daily from 1.December - 5.April (subject to weather conditions)
Duration: ca 3 hours.
Number of guests: 2 - 8
Meeting time and place: At 19:00 at our camp (see the map for location)
Age limit: Not suitable for children under 6 years, but a family friendly experience.
What to bring: warm clothes, hat, socks and gloves.
Included: Thermal Winter suit and winterboots.
Difficulty level: Medium. Husky mushing is for almost everyone, but you need to be physically healthy, as you will need to run and push the sled uphill.

NB! Should there not be any snow in the early season we will run the tours with carts.

15 km North of Lyngseidet , Road FV 91, " Ullsfjordveien".
7 km South of Svensby ferrydock, Road FV 91, " Ullsfjordveien"
The location will be signed from the road, and it is on the mountain side. Look for a sledge by the turn off.

How to get there
From the main road, follow the sign "Lyngen Husky Safari". After a couple of minutes on the forest road your will reach a small parking and the dog kennel, where the guide and the dogs are waiting for you.
