Evening Snowmobile Excursion in the Skibotn Valley
Snowmobiling tour trough the arctic nature in Skibotn valley.We start with instructions how to drive this vehicle and head out on the trail who is going through wood and over open landscapes. Two persons on each snowmobile. We will change driver during the trip. We will be taking photos when we stop, and the guide will always try to find you the best spot for nice pictures.
This tour is conducted by Activenorth.
Please choose the correct departure point after selecting a date in the calendar. Departure Tromsø: 5:30 PM by Scandic Ishavshotel, the bus leaves 5:45 PM. Look for a bus going towards "Hatteng/Skibotn". We will return to Tromsø about 12:30 AM
Departure Skibotn: Meet at 6:45 PM at Activenorth AS, Stormyra 1, 9143 Skibotn
Season: 15 December – 31 March
Total Duration: 3.5 hours at the camp, 1.5 hours snowmobiling + transfer from Tromsø (90 minutes each way).
Number of participants: 2 - 16
Level of difficulty: Medium
Whats included:English speaking guide. Hot soup served with bread, coffee or tea. Insulated bodysuit, shoes, gloves and headwear. The evening tour will provide the chance to see the Northern Lights.
We recommend that you have warm undergarments. Wool and fleece is the best.
