On this 3-4 hours trip in the vicinities of Longyearbyen we will get a god view of the Svalbard nature. Here you will find that it is not necessary to travel far away from the settlement to experience the wilderness and the great silence of the Arctic . We travel through narrow, snow white valleys and over big glaciers in this varied landscape. We make frequent stops to take photos from some great panorama viewpoints. At the same time we will be guided through the human history of the area and the guide also tells us about animal life. This is the perfect excursion for a taste of Svalbard , and a fine way to see something more than just the settlement. The trip is about 70 kilometres to drive.
A valid driver’s licence for car or motorbike is required to drive a snowmobile. Remember to take it with you on the tour. The passenger does not need to have a driver’s licence.
