Førlandsåsen in Strand

The hike starts from the quay at the city of Jørpeland. Follow the river until you reach the gravel road to Selemork. Follow the gravel road to Storåfoss, where you cross the river. Continue a few more minutes before taking a right turn towards Førlandsåsen, crossing the asphalted road. Follow the valley up to the foot of the mountain, through the rockery and up on the mountain ridge, and onwards to the summit.

Regaining the Selemork trail, you can admire the hydroelectric power buildings on your way back.
