FG Restaurant & Bar

FG Restaurant & Bar is a brasserie and offer a good selection of meat and seafood in historical surroundings on the iconic Bryggen.

The restaurant is located in Finnegården, which is part of Bryggen and on UNESCO's list of world cultural heritage. You cannot ask for a shorter walking distance to the city's sights.

We are committed to offer a wonderful dining experience for all tastes in historical surroundings on Bryggen, with a good selection of meat and seafood. In addition, we have private rooms that are perfect for conferences, weddings, confirmations, Christmas dinners, anniversaries and private events. The maximum capacity for the conference room is 32 people. The maximum capacity in a private room is 48 people (90 people in two private rooms, which have a door in between).

FG Bar is a stylish, intimate bar and a part of FG Restaurant and The Hanseatic Hotel. Here you can relax and enjoy a drink before and after dinner, or just stop by and enjoy the atmosphere in deep and comfortable chairs. We serve both local beer, wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks

We offer a  20% discount on all food to students upon presentation of a valid student ID card. Applies to two people per student ID card.

In addition, we have an agreement with Escape Bryggen which offers our guests a 15% discount (students get a 21% discount) upon presentation of a receipt.

The offers do not apply on 17th May or together with other promotions.

Finnegården probably has its name after the farm Finne on Voss and is first mentioned in 1403. In the mid-16th century, part of the farm belonged to Erik Rosenkrantz. Only after the fire in 1702 was Finnegården rebuilt as we know it today.
