Fishing in Breimsvatnet Lake
Breimsvatnet is a lake located to the west in the village of Breim in Gloppen municipality, but it also extends south to Jølster. With its 278 depth meters, the lake is the county's second deepest, and the country's 12th deepest. Surrounded by high mountains, Breimsvatnet is a beautiful photographic object.
Breimsvatnet is one of the few lakes in Sogn and Fjordane that has a documented population of large trout, and is known for good fishing conditions. To fish in Breimsvatnet you have to buy a fishing license. You do this by purchasing an annual, weekly or daily card for zone 1.
