Odal Fritid & Turistservice offers a number of different services. Everything from guiding in fishing and outdoor life, to repairs and sales of bicycles. They also carry out most service and maintenance assignments for both companies and private individuals, such as clearing, tree felling, snow cutting, firewood, cabin service and more.

Owner and operator Raymond offers fishing trips in his own electric boat, perfect for families or small groups of friends. He knows Storsjøen, the pearl of Odalen, very well and can recommend both swimming spots and areas suitable for canoeing and kayaking as well.

In wintertime you can experience icefishing as well.

Storsjøen in Odalen's municipalities is a hidden gem for fishing enthusiasts. With its rich stock of both predatory fish and lots of carp fish. With idyllic scenery, the lake offers a unique experience for both experienced fishermen and beginners. The lake is particularly shallow and therefore very nutritious. Only 17 metres at its deepest. Storsjøen flows into the Glomma river. The difference in altitude is so small that during the spring flood, Glomma flows into Storsjøen.

Storsjøen has a varied selection of fish species, there are as many as 17 species of fish. The most common are pike, perch, bream, roach and perch. The lake is particularly famous for its large pike and perch. Many anglers travel here in the hope of hooking a real trophy fish. Perch weighing over 1 kg and pike measuring over 1 metre are not unusual.  There are also good opportunities to fish for barbel and bream. Whitefish, roach, pollack and burbot are also part of the ecosystem and contribute to a balanced fish habitat.
