The Enningdal river is one of very few salmon water courses in the south-east of Norway!
The watercourse in Enningdalen contains much of its original river ecosystem and have an early migratory salmon stock, moderately affected by external influences.
The Enningdal River is Norway's southeastern salmon river and is a border river managed in cooperation with Sweden. The river is known for big catches, with the record salmon of 17.7 kilos.
The river is open for fishing from May 23 to August 15.
